Membership Categories
All members of Christiania Ski Club must be approved by the Committee. Members are expected to participate in club activities such as working parties.Senior Member
A Senior Member of Christiania Ski Club is someone who is 18 years of age or older, and is not an Associate, Life, or Honary Member. Senior Members have full voting privileges and may serve on the committee.
Annual Subscription: $220 (includes $80 work party levy)
Veteran Member
A Senior Member may apply to the committee for Veteran Membership if they are over 60 years of age and have been affiliated with the club for at least 15 years. Veteran Members qualify for a reduced subscription (50%) and do not have to pay any additional levies imposed by the club.
Annual Subscription: $70
Junior Member
A Junior Member of Christiania Ski Club is someone who is 17 years of age or younger (or still at High School), and is not an Associate, or Honorary Member. Junior Members do not have voting privileges and may not serve on the committee. Junior membership is restricted to the children of Senior Members, Associate Members and Life Members.
Annual Subscription: $50
Associate Member
An Associate Member of Christiania Ski Club is someone who will be absent from skiing for a period of at least 18 months, or is retiring from skiing but still wishes to remain associated with the club. Associate members do not have voting privileges and are classed as non members for lodge booking priority. Associate membership must be approved by the committee.
Annual Subscription: $35
Life Member
A Life Member of Christiania Ski Club is someone who has been elected to this position by a General Meeting of the club. Life Members are classed as Senior Members for all purposes except subscriptions. Life Members must be nominated by the committee. Life Membership is intended to reflect long and outstanding service to the club and a dedication to it's objectives.
