Derby

The Christiania (Christie) Derby is a ski race competition between the 50-odd clubs on Ruapehu. It is the oldest and one of the biggest races held on Ruapehu each year.  Unfortunately, due to this year's uncertainty and late confirmation of operations, many of the regular on-mountain events are unable to run.  We are sad to say the Christie Derby is one of these events.

But fear not!  Christiania, Ruapehu Ski Club and Rangatira Alpine Sports Club are joining forces to bring you The Whakapapa Combined Clubs Race on Saturday September 2.
