About Christiania Ski Club
Christiania Ski Club is a Hamilton based club, although we have members from as far afield as Auckland and Wellington. The club has a lodge on Mt Ruapehu (Whakapapa Side) which provides accommodation for members and their guests during the ski season, as well as in the summer months. We can also cater for groups both large and small.
The two main objectives of the club are the enjoyment of snow sports in all forms, especially among juniors (ie. family skiing). The club is a family oriented club - Junior members and their families enjoy booking preference during periods such as the school holidays. The second objective is the promotion of good fellowship and co-operation among clubs. This objective is symbolised by the Christiania Derby an annual event held in high regard on the Mt. Ruapehu Ski Calendar.
